*How I came into the book business*
During counselling I use to recommend books I had read that will be of great help to my counselees and that will expose them to greater information to solve their problems or challenge.
I was not into book sale but I found them asking me if I can get the particular book mentioned for them, I started with lending out from my own library (had operated library service too) but it went further they wanted me to help buy the books.
Opportunity came up a member of my church that had a bookstore and a great stock of edifying books was traveling out and felt led that he should sell all his books to me at a discount.
I didn't have enough money to tap into the opportunity but fortunately, he said to pay a small percentage upfront and pay in monthly installments for 2 years. That was how I came into. Book business.
Still nursing the same desire to put answers and solutions into the hands of our clients that will help in their areas of need.
